Our Company

Prairie 3D provides geo-referenced surveying, mapping, and design services to clients across Western Canada.

We utilize UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), multi-spectral cameras, thermal cameras, Mobile Mapping (LiDAR and imaging), and Terrestrial LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) to create highly accurate maps and perform remote sensing.

  • Advantages of UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) Imaging

    - Efficient: Less expensive than satellite and aircraft based systems

    - More Accurate: Higher quality imagery than most aircraft or satellite systems.

    - Thermal: can detect mechanical/electrical failures and sources of heat loss

    - Environmentally Friendly: Fully electric with minimal noise impact

  • Applications of UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) Imaging

     - 3D building scans

     - Multi-spectral crop scans

     - Field scans for elevation and drainage

     - Thermal imaging for roof leaks, electrical failures, and Search and Rescue

     - Multi-spectral scans to find noxious weeds and invasive species

     - NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) to map changing environmental
